Mr Elias Muzinda has more than seventeen (17) years’ experience in the banking sector and started his career with Century Bank Limited, before joining the Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe in 2003. He is a seasoned banker with experience in strategic management, enterprise risk management, treasury and lending, and has an exceptional record of accomplishment and delivering strategic transformation. Elias has demonstrated exceptional leadership skills and has a deep understanding of the Bank’s business model. He joined Metbank Limited on 1 May 2019 as Head of Risk & Security, rose to the position of Chief Risk Officer before his appointment to the position of Managing Director, effective 1 February 2023. His appointment reflects the ambition of the Board of Metbank Limited - to grow the Bank’s position in this important sector and to continue providing excellent customer propositions across all of our distribution channels.
