Metbank Ltd. was one of the key sponsors for this year’s Association of RDCs Annual General Meeting held in Bulawayo on 13 May 2021. The event was attended by all the sixty (60) RDCs from across the country. Each RDC was represented by the Council Chairperson and the Chief Executive Officer.
The bank’s sponsorship included supplying conference stationery and conference gear which was well received by the Association and its members.
The Association took the opportunity of this gathering to meet some of the key service providers for the RDCs which included road construction companies, yellow equipment supply companies, the bank and others.
The Bank was happy to reconnect with one of its key customer segments and updated the meeting on the progress at the bank and some of its new service offerings. The bank also took time to engage with the service providers who were in attendance with the view of drawing up structures that would benefit the three parties.
The bank was satisfied with the business opportunities discussed and pledged to follow up on all the individual requests in order to deal the deal. The Bank is looking forward to strengthened relationships with the association and its members.
